Why pack units matter
In B2B ordering, the same product may be offered in more than one pack configuration. Choosing the correct selling unit helps you order the quantity your business actually needs and reduces misunderstandings.
What does PCS mean?
PCS means individual pieces. Where a product is available by piece, the selected quantity relates to individual units rather than an outer pack or full case.
What does OUTER mean?
OUTER refers to an inner or outer pack containing multiple individual pieces. The exact number of pieces depends on the product and pack configuration, so always check the selected option before ordering.
What does CASE mean?
CASE means the full carton or case. A case can contain multiple outers or a larger quantity of individual units depending on the manufacturer’s packing format.
Check the selected configuration
Do not assume that every product uses the same piece-to-outer or outer-to-case ratio. Review the product title, SKU, selected selling unit and displayed pack configuration before confirming an order.
